Right to be Forgotten

Article 17, UK GDPR | Effective: 1 May 2026

Under Article 17 of the UK GDPR, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it. This page explains what this means, how the process works, and how to submit a request.

Important: Requesting erasure of your data will permanently delete your account, profile, CV, application history, and all associated files. This action cannot be undone.

When the Right to Erasure Applies

You may request deletion of your data when one or more of the following applies:

  • The data is no longer necessary for its original purpose
  • You withdraw consent on which processing was based
  • You object to processing and no overriding interest exists
  • The data has been unlawfully processed
  • Erasure is required to comply with a legal obligation

  • Profile information (name, contact details, location)
  • Uploaded files — CV, cover letter, profile photo
